Youth Gospel Campaign through Drama in Harar
Our youth in Harar town are doing great things. Just few weeks ago they have conducted Gospel campaign and they have reached out many young people by the Gospel of Jesus Christ especially through the method of using Drama. They showed an amazing performance when they were playing the story of the crucified Jesus on the cross. The hearts of many people have touched and as a result of that more than 20 people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Praise God!

We will continue to tell of the power and awesome works of the Lord. We will proclaim the great and wonderful deeds of our Lord and celebrate His abundant goodness as we joyfully sing of His righteousness.
Outreach
An outreach program was carried out at the Sadugu community in partnership with the Ghana International Baptist Convention. It was a great joy showing the Jesus film, having time of fellowship with people in the community and worshipping the Lord together.
God’s blessings of peace, health and prosperity to all in the coming year! We are very thankful to those who support Unite 4 Africa in prayer and finances. We want to assure you of our commitment to wise stewardship in all of the areas where our organization seeks to empower and lift up our brothers and sisters in Africa to sustainably better lives and the knowledge of their Heavenly Creator within their communities. It is our hope to provide more clean water, more homes for orphans, medical care and supplies for those in need, and more training in the use of scripture and it’s power in daily life. We look back at the past year with hearts filled with thanksgiving for God’s provision and wisdom and guidance.

It is easy for me to be caught off guard by tragedy and evil in the world around me and especially in my own life. In 1 Peter 4:12 we are told “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.”

Ethiopia Update – December 2015 – Samson Weldemariam – Director of Unite 4 Africa, Ethiopia
A woman who involved in witchcraft activities for almost 60 years got born again
Her name is DAMITU SANBATO she is 76 years old now. According to her testimony, the evils spirit that controlled her father transferred to her when she was 7 years of age. Since then she suffered a lot in various sicknesses and led miserable life. When she was 17 years of age she officially ordained by the community to take the place of her father so that she became witchcraft.
Since then she got involved in various witchcraft activities for nearly 60 years. She predicted the future of the people as a fortuneteller. Due to this many people not only from her village but also from many other places came and served the evil spirit in her.
She clearly identified the evil spirit worked in her and she said that there were three spirits worked in her life and she knew their names in her local language. She built three worshiping house for them in her compound and every Friday evening many people gathered together and worshiped the evil spirits and sought for guidance for their business, health and family issues.
The evil spirits took the blood of animals such as lambs, goats and calves. She brought the blood with special traditional cup and put in a hidden place in her compound and the snake came and drinks the blood every day.

Men Ministry – Mailtisa
The Lord continues to bless the men ministry started in Mailtisa few months ago. It is now reaching men in their homes and their community. In November the men were at Engaboli community reaching men and sharing the gospel of Jesus. They were able to help convert two men who for the most part of their lives have been drunkards. These men need a lot of prayer to be able to stand firm in the faith.

House Of Hope Teens Conference
In this last month we held a teen conference at House of Hope. The Theme for this year was “The regeneration.” This is a study which is being taught and the youth go in groups in discussions. It is very helpful for young people as they also get involved in door to door evangelism, as they walk through the villages and lead people to Christ.

Ethiopia Update – January 2016 – Samson Weldemariam – Director of Unite 4 Africa, Ethiopia
Dear Friends and partners, in the book of Luke 2:10-11 we read: “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord”.
Wow, this is some awesome news! This is the Gospel, the good news to a fallen world and together we have succeeded one more year to reach the unreached and help the helpless!
The Lord has given us many wonderful victories this past year and we are looking back on 2015 with great joy. I’m thankful for all our work of Evangelism that thousands gave their lives to Jesus, the training that we have conducted and impacted thousands of leaders. I’m thankful for hundreds of orphans that experienced the Love & power of God; received restoration & rehabilitation. I’m also thankful for all our school projects that are shaping and impacting the future and destiny of thousands of our children.

“Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.” (Psalm 119:90-92 NIV)
Introduction
The faithfulness of the Lord has been sure each day and it last forever. The law of the Lord has preserved us beyond measure and all too soon another new year has begun. The blessings of the Lord over the past year have been awesome and it surprises us as we count them one by one.
Appreciation/Gratitude
On behalf of the Ghana Team, beneficiaries of the projects of U4A and the entire leadership of U4A, we wish to use this opportunity to express our sincere heartfelt gratitude to all, friends, supporters, Partners and Donors of Unite 4 Africa for continuing to stand with us to bring hope and transformation to individuals, families and communities. It is our hope and prayer that the Lord who blessed the jug of oil and jar of flour of the widow of Zarephath will bless you in the same measure.
It’s a continual amazement to me how ‘ready’ those Unite 4 Africa ministers are to learn what Jesus has to say about…anything! Doesn’t matter what the topic is. If it is Jesus’ heart, that’s what they want to know about so that they can follow. Yes, there are bumps in the road for them too – like the influence and traditions of culture. But, generally speaking when presented with the opportunity to know more about God’s Son, they almost always opt for Christ. Here’s what’s really interesting – that goes for unbelievers as well.

Ghana Update – November 2015 – Samson Abukari – Country Director
“Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them”. (Romans 2:14-15 NIV)
Introduction
Our God is a good God and His love endures forever. He is faithful to us and each day He reveals Himself to us in different dimensions. His continuous desire is that man will get to know and enter a relationship with Him. God has indeed, written His law on the hearts of man that we will be guided daily in light of His law. It is our pray that we will become conscious about this law and live it out.
Transformational Mentoring
Isaac and Samson had the privilege to participate in a 3 day transformational mentoring training in Tamale which was organized by COF in partnership with Partners International (PI). Participants were taken through what transformational mentoring is, current leadership values, the value shift that is needed, various leadership covenants etc. Dr. Rene the West African director of Partners International was the lead facilitator. There was an opening for U4A’s potential partnership with some Churches and Christian organizations in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

New Church Established, Lenkishon
It is with great joy we share the good news of a new place of worship at Lenkishon. EMIRISHOI CHURCH, which means victory in Maasai, stood the hard times of draught and people gave their lives to Christ and the church opened. At the moment this church has over fifty members. This church worships under a tree which is very difficult during the scorching sun or during the rainy season. Please pray with us that Emirishoi church will grow in the faith of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and that they may get a shelter.

Our school in Welenchity keeps expanding
God has been doing great things through our school project in Welenchity town. Currently the number of students reaches 529. So far we had 14 classrooms only and those classrooms could not contain all our students and it affected the teaching and learning process.
But last year we started building additional 6 classrooms and we are using it even though it has not yet completed. But we could not solve the problem because of the number of the students getting increase every year. So now, we started building another additional 2 classrooms and it is under construction. Currently we have totally 22 classrooms in our school compound but still the need is very huge. Our plan is to buy another plot of land next to our school compound.

ZION BAPTIST CHURCH
In the month of September we held a one day seminar on health about HIV AIDS and mothers transmitting it to unborn babies. Women learned how to attend clinic during pregnancy and care for babies. They learned the importance of going for HIV tests, prevention measures in the family. The issue of talking about sex and sexually transmitted infections among the Maasai is very sensitive and is handled carefully as it offends many to talk about it.
