Ghana Update – December 2015 – Samson Abukari – Country Director

Introduction
Like a dream the 2015 that we began some few months back is just about to give way to a new year. We are more than grateful to the Lord who has brought us this far. His name be praised now and forever more.
Worldwide Ministers Network Conference
Samson was privileged to participate in the Worldwide Ministers conference that took place in Tamale under the theme “Dealing with the weightier matters confronting the Church Today. It was an experience that was worth the time and participants were challenged to make a difference for Christ in our world.
Guest Speaking
Samson was the guest speaker at the Jisonaayili International Baptist Church’s Thanksgiving and Fund raising service for 2015. He spoke on the need for the body of Christ to be Thankful to God for the many Blessings we have received and are yet to receive and urged everyone to avail Himself/herself in addition to what they own for the furtherance of the work of the kingdom.
Passing on to Eternity
During the last month Rev. Silas’ mother passed on to eternity. As we mourn we also celebrate that she has been offered the opportunity to rest in the bosom of our Lord. Continue to pray for the family that they will be comforted and that what had happened will be a source of encouragement for them to hold fast to the Lord.
Prayer Needs
- Pray for the end of year Leaders and Spouses Retreat.
- Pray for the upcoming bridges trainings
- Pray for comfort for the family of Rev. Silas as their mother has passed on to eternity.
- Pray for good harvest for farmers as they begin to harvest at this time
- Pray for the harvest of souls especially, as we get closer to the Christmas season
