Ghana Update – November 2026
You must reach a wider audience
There came a phone call from an unknown contact and the voice said, “You don’t know me but I have followed your teachings and any time I listen to you my mind goes back to about 40 years ago when I heard this kind of pure Gospel that we used to listen to. Thanks so much and I will connect with you later for more discussion.”
Fast forward about 3 months later- the same person called and asked if can we find time to meet as I have arrived in Tamale to do some work for few days. When we finally met and were discussing issues pertaining to human life and how the lives of Christians who are in the minority in the region can have a better form of living that will empower them to have the confidence needed to help others see the love of Christ not just in words but in their actions.
He then preceded to ask Pastor Samson if he shares the gospel on television? The answer was no except when invited occasionally to preach. He paused and said you must begin to present the gospel on TV and it must be now. That is how he worked things out and made payment for the ‘Seed of Hope Broadcast’ to be on Sagani TV once a week for the next 3 months. Seed of Hope in the local language is ‘Tahima Bimbira.’ It is our prayer that through this broadcast, many lives shall be transformed by the gospel. The host of the program said, ‘Pastor, this channel will make you reach out to 10 times of the audience if not more of the impact you were having on radio.’ Yahweh let it be so!

Leadership development
One of the difficult things to do in life is the development of future leaders. Many people with a genuine heart for the Lord and the gospel get frustrated along the line because of the challenges associated with it. Some get discouraged because of the betrayal of people that they have helped developed but more importantly some almost give up because of the slow pace involved in seeing a significant turnaround in the lives of people that you spend months and even years of pouring into.
Recently I felt very encouraged about what the Lord has done behind the scenes with the numerous trainings that we have done to help raised leaders for their communities and the Kingdom of God at large.
Someone walked over to me and said, “Do you remember these things that were shared in one of the leadership programs we did with your team? That has sustained me in service not just to my community alone but the local church I serve. I just wanted to say thank you.”
Another one said I just like you and your team because you make things very simple and not complicated. Some of us were scared in stepping forward to lead but watching from afar and participating in the lessons you expose us to dispel every fear and now I love to serve the Lord in diverse ways in my community.

Opportunity in two communities
Recently we had the opportunity to do a medical outreach in two communities, one of which is 100% non-Christian and the other a very insignificant number of Christians. A number of the inhabitants are open but are afraid of the consequences of openly saying yes to Jesus. Some follow up is being done on a weekly basis to their homes and we are trusting the Lord to give wisdom to our leaders that are doing the follow up, for them to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit in their approach so that we can identify ways that people who finally make commitments can be discipled to become vessels that can be used to reach others in the community for the Lord.
Prayer needs
Pray for the weekly Seed of Hope Broadcast on TV, that the Lord will work through it for salvation and transformation of many lives.
Pray for all the preparations needed in restoring the Christian school in the Moglaa community and for the raising of children in and around the community with Christ-centered lessons.
Pray for the leadership of the Holy Spirit as we roll out programs for the Christmas season designed to reach the unsaved.
Pray for those who are opening up to the gospel through a medical outreach to communities, that the Holy Spirit will continue to convict them for a commitment to Jesus for life.
Yours in His Vineyard
