Economic empowerment is central to assisting families within the community to earn life-giving, sustainable income. Families around the world are more vulnerable today than ever before. Poverty subjects families to overwhelming challanges, especially widows who often take in more orphans and consequently struggle to make ends meet. Their children are often forced to drop out of school to help support the family.
Unite 4 Africa’s holistic approach with our Community Health Empowerment (CHE) is designed to ensure that individuals take ownership of what they personally identify will help lift them from poverty. Through U4A’s CHE programs they acquire the knowledge they need to sustain long term solutions.
Transforming lives in this way has proven to bring substantial community results as individuals in turn empower and encourage others around them. By engaging and sharing the knowledge they have acquired they advance positive impact through a multiplier effect.
Newly acquired economic training and empowerment enables individuals to better care for their families through:
- Small business and micro-enterprise initiatives
- Community development programs as determined by each community
You can be an important link to economic empowerment across communities we serve throughout Africa. Your support will ensure that families have the tools they need to stay together, thrive, and live abundant lives in Christ.
