Kenya Update-November 2017
House Of Hope
The month of November has seen a lot political activities going on in Kenya. At House of Hope clinic has been busy with many sick and accidents being handled. They had many deliveries with some dangerous complications. Has been a challenge doing referrals without an Ambulance due the six-month government nurses strike. House of Hope has been doing expansions. Please pray for provisions to complete these expansions.

Goats Empowerment
Kenya was privileged to have a Pastor from Hope Community Church, Tucson Arizona, together with Rev Okongo visit our local communities of Maasai to encourage and share Gods Love with them. At the same time they help empower the Orphans by giving goats. Hope Community Church has for many years supported Unite 4 Africa, Goats for Orphans empowerment in Africa.

Koitiko Church Empowered With Motor Cycle
Rev Okongo has travelled many local villages in Kenya and knows the distance in kilometers and what it takes for a local pastor to reach his Church every Sunday. It is because of this that he joined other local leaders to help the Koitiko Baptist Church pastor get a motor bicycle to help do evangelism and hope groups to minister to church members.

Fighting Drought
The draught in Kenya took along time and the country went for long without rains. This has impacted negatively to the local community. We partnered with I Love Africa, a local Ngo to protect the local dams by fencing them and install generators to pump the water from the dam. Water then will be directed by pipe to troughs for cows to drink

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Thank God for the rains. It started in different part of the country
- Pray for peace in Kenya even after election
- Pray for resources to complete the expansion at House Of Hope clinic
