Ethiopia Update-January 2018
Our Animal Project has brought huge impacts in the lives of many orphans last year
The bible says in the book of Zechariah 4:10 “For who despised the day of small things?”. When we started our animal project it seemed like a very small thing comparing to the overwhelming challenges and needs of our communities particularly the needs of orphans and vulnerable children. But, we did believe that God is going to increase it and will use the project as an instrument to change the lives of our orphans and vulnerable children. So, we did not despise those days of the small thing.
And God is faithful and has increased and blessed this project just like He blessed those loaves of bread and fishes on the hand of Jesus and fed multitudes. Just only last year we were able to distribute 237 goats and 5 cows to our orphans and vulnerable children.
As a result of this the lives of those who have received our support have been changed significantly. They are able to buy their food, provide their school fees by themselves, buy closes and school uniform and more over they even blessed others by giving their goats to other orphans and vulnerable children in their villages and churches. We thank God for this project and I would also like thank all our partners for participating in this project.

Our Gospel continues to draw many souls even in the past year
Our evangelism and church planting movement still continues. Just in the past year more than 3, 000 people have taken water baptism, other thousands have come to Christ and hundreds of local churches, house churches and training hubs have been planted & established. As a result of this our communities have changed spiritually, socially, physically even economically and emotionally. We believe that our Gospel can transform people holistically.
New Convert and Baptism event
Our schools have moved up to another level to impact our communities.
Mainly we have three school projects in the region we are working in the towns called Welenchity, Wonjishowa and Modjo. Recently we have opened another new kindergarten in village called Dongore. Totally we have more than 2,000 students in those schools from KG level up to grade 10.
Despite the various challenges we are facing we are able to change many lives through education. Most of our students are top winners comparing to the students in other government schools in terms of knowledge and ethical characters. Our students have great vision and bright future for their lives and their community and nation at large. As a result of the impact of our school projects the rate of child pregnancy has drastically decreased in those villages and towns. We also thank God for this projects. Thank you our partners for visiting our schools and standing alongside with us.

Our training and development program has expanded
As Jesus commanded us we believe that doing the work of evangelism and church planting is not enough to complete the task of the great commission. Making discipleship through the teaching and training of the sound word of God is very important and key. In order to do that we have various programs for our leaders and church planters. We also recently have opened a training center in Adama/Nazareth.
In addition to various trainings conducted in our training center we were able to train thousands of leaders, church planters, women and youths in our training hubs in the country. As a result of those trainings the lives and ministries our leaders have changed and our churches have kept healthy.
