Note from the Board-October 2017
It’s very interesting that as I get older and closer to “the end”, my earnest desire is that my influence for the Lord will extend further and further. I don’t know exactly how to describe this phenomena, but it really is my heart. At this time in my life what I really want to do is have lasting influence and impact; being used by the Lord for His purposes.
I’ve been so fortunate over the last 20 or so years, that what God has asked me to do, He has also given me the ability to do. This so fulfills the desire I mention above. And I want to do more of it. Generational impact is what I want. In actuality, there aren’t many of those opportunities available, save ministries that engage and serve others in the name of Jesus Christ. After all, eternal life with Him is pretty awesome and that is what He is interested in for all He has created.
Unite 4 Africa is one such work. As communities are ministered to in the name of Christ Jesus, they begin to transform in almost every way. Peace is one result. Service is another. Sin and selfishness diminish, goals change and life becomes richer and more meaningful. Life with Jesus offers so much more than anything the world can provide. Lasting impact for Him is the direct result.
The work of U4A exemplifies what I am writing to you about. Wherever they go – Kingdom impact. Whatever they do – Kingdom impact. Their ministering example to men, women and children – Kingdom impact. Sharing the heart of Jesus – Kingdom impact. On earth as it is in heaven – Kingdom impact!
Thank you for partnering in this awesome Kingdom impact work for His glory!
