Kenya Update-October 2017
House Of Hope
House Of Hope has been giving hope to the surrounding community despite the many challenges. The government employed Nurses strike has impacted heavily on HoH clinic as many sick patients travel to seek treatment, some of which come without anyone supporting them to be treated, weighing the heavy burden of cost of treatment on House of Hope. HOH has been able in its outreach to minister to widows and Orphans spiritually. It has been working on expansion of its small facilities and will need prayers to attain the required buildings for the clinic.

Zion Baptist Kintergarten Groundbreaking Ceremony
Unite 4 Africa supported Orphans program at Zion Baptist, which led to a start of a kindergarten for young children that could not walk long distance to the primary schools in the area. This year God blessed us with a partner, a Christian NGO from South Korea, SARANGBAT through its Worldshare Korea, which has offered to help in constructing three classrooms, an office and a store for the kindergarten. End of September we did a groundbreaking ceremony to start the construction.

Because of the long drought in Kenya, Zion Baptist Kindergarten children have been going without water, which was affecting attendance and attentive participation in class. Pastor Simon through WITHOPEN EYES donated a ten thousand liters water tank that will help the kindergarten have water to be used by children.
