Note from the Board – Jim Weisert

Let me first thank each of you who faithfully partner with Unite4Africa to share Christ with those seeking to fill the God size whole in their heart. All the people whose lives have been transformed for Christ thank you as well. May God bless all you put your hand to in His name. Amen!

Now together let the desires of our hearts burn to know God deeper and richer every day for the rest of our lives. And with the power of almighty God’s Spirit living in us, join together in heart, mind, spirit, and strength, to boldly love those around us here in the United States of America and throughout the world who fight against us. As 1st Peter states over and over again in his letter of encouragement; we are to stand firm in our faith when enduring persecution. Peter also points out that we who believe have already received eternal life. As we suffer, we must remember that Christ is both our hope in the midst of suffering and our example of how to endure suffering faithfully.

I bring this up now to share with you that life in Africa, in that incredibly beautiful continent, is filled with people and seasons that are hard to endure. So, in your daily prayers, please lift up the Staff and team members of Unite4Africa, as they endure hardships like we in the USA have never experienced in our lifetime.

Lastly, please check out Unite4Africa’s website, we have opportunities for you to join us on Mission trips to Africa and to acquire Okongo’s book that tells how God has carried him through many persecutions for his faithfulness, and how he has endured many horrific times in his life for being a follower of Christ. It is a book about forgiveness.
