LIFE CHANGING STORY – GLAYS NJAO

How the life of an old lady’s passion for Christ changed the whole community. Gladys Njao is over 70 years old Maasai. She received Christ when she is grown in years and with no training on evangelism and with no clue on how to plant a church, she started praying under a tree outside her home with three of her grand daughters. Every body thought she is out of her mind where most practice culture and Maasai traditions. But for months she felt a spirit that continues to push her to pray outside her local Maasai manyatta. No church heard about her, until one day Rev Moses Rianto visited the area with intention to do evangelism and mama Gladys was there to welcome him she convinced her husband and sons to donate piece of land to start a church. And many in this community came to know Christ through her, including the current pastor. That’s how Ololepo Baptist church was planted. I pray that all of us will listen to the spirit and follow as He leads us to our neighbours and community. Mama Gladys continue to inspire many in the community

EMPOWERING THE LOCAL PASTOR – JOSHUA TIKUA

For two years pastor Joshua walked faithfully for 20 kilometers to minister to a local community church. He will go every Sunday and midweek to visit and do evangelism and pray for church members. Unite 4 Africa worked with pastor Joshua in this community and saw the need and responded to empower pastor Joshua with motorbike to be used for ministry at Namelok Baptist Church. Pastor Joshua can now go with his wife to church because he now has a good means of transport.
