Note From The Board – January 2013
A New Year has begun and it is with sincere thanks that we at Unite 4 Africa look back at what was accomplished in 2012 with your help.
We have begun the process of purchasing a bus to provide transportation to ministry groups and others who travel to Kenya. This enterprise will be self-sustaining and will provide income for some of our ground staff in Kenya.
We are in the process of getting government approval for the drilling required to provide a well in Lositeti. This community came with their own money, around $7,000 USD, to help with this water project in their village. This is a remarkable sum from such a small group. Many from the village gave what they could because of their belief in the value of transforming their community through their own efforts. Unite 4 Africa is blessed to stand beside them and help them to help themselves.
There have been many who have attended training sessions, studies, and various conferences in Africa to further their knowledge of biblical teaching and how it relates to their lives and how it builds up their communities. Many have asked for more workshops and conferences and gatherings to learn more and hear more of God’s Word.
Mosquito nets have been provided so children can remain healthy and stay in school.
Communities are being transformed because there are solid godly men and women on the ground in Africa working hard to promote and carry out these various projects, and people like you supporting whole heartedly through prayer and with contribution.
We thank you and we thank God for His provision and ask Him to bless all who take part.
