Kenya Update-September 2018

Pastors and Leaders Training – Esukuta Baptist, Mailtisa

In the month of August, we partnered with Spear Africa Foundation to host a pastors and Leaders training. We were blessed to have Bob Sjogren of UnveinGlory ministries, USA. Bob taught on “Parenting for Gods glory” Bob taught on who receives the glory in all that we do. It was a challenging to know that many are mostly focus on what will benefit them.

House of Hope – Katito

During the month of August, there were many activities at House of hope clinic. House of Hope installed water Tanks and now they have running water. They did evangelism outreaches and nurturing talents among the youth and Bible distribution.

Education Support Program – Engaboli Primary School

Many of the Maasai children are struggling with schooling for lack of school fee. This has left a number of them helping parents at home. At Engaboli primary school, we have been praying for many needy and this month, God touched one, Elder Shim from Korea to support one Hundred and fourteen children with school fee. We thank God for him and are praying many will be touched to pray and help in whatever small way. He has also bought a water Tank for the school and will help to pipe water to the school. He is supporting also with feeding program, which has helped to keep many children in school.

Relief Food for Needy Families – Lumbwa

After the long rains few month ago, many needy families are still struggling to make ends meet. With no livestock left to depend on, they now depend on well-wishers to help with food items as they struggle to start again. This month Unite 4 Africa together with a Korean missionary to support these families with maize and beans, which will sustain them for some time. Please pray that, they find something to do to sustain them.
