Kenya Update-May 2017

SOUTH KOREA VISIT – REV MOSES RIANTO

Early in April Rev Moses Rianto and His wife Lydia had an opportunity to visit South Korea together with one Korean missionary. While in South Korea, Rev Moses met Rev Kwon Taeli, who is the Founder and president of several Ngos. These include Sarangbat, Network, Wica and World share. We met at Sarangbat offices in Seoul discussed Kenya and specifically the Maasai. After along discussion, Rev Kwon agreed to help through his organization to build a modern Nursery/kindergarten at Zion Baptist Church and help develop a secondary school and a training college facility at Engaboli Primary School. He will also help the school have enough water.

HOUSE OF HOPE

Our House of Hope Kenya, continue to give hope and evangelism. In the month of April they hosted a team from Tanzania where they did a door-to-door evangelism together and open-air crusades with the HoH choir leading. We thank God 15 people were convicted by the Holy Spirit and they gave their lives to Christ.

HoH choir were blessed to do a video for their second music album. During the schools break in April, HoH planned mentoring seminars for Orphans and were able to reach 140 who also gave their time to help at House of Hope. During the same time, House of Hope had a leaders training where 12 church leaders and pastors attended. House of Hope continues to offer goats for Orphans to empower the needy.
