Kenya Update-July 2018

New Church – Ololepo Baptist Church

During the month of June, we did evangelism at Ololepo area and 20 people gave their lives to Christ and it’s our prayer that the Lord will bless them to grow spiritually. One family gave part of their land for worship and when God provide will build a church. Meanwhile they worship under a tree.

Goats for Orphans – Mailtisa

Unite 4 Africa has been a blessing to many Orphans in many communities in Kenya. Through the Goat support, many Orphans have been empowered to own a goat. This month 20 Orphans each received a goat. This will help them have something they contribute to the families that stay with them.

Water Tank Installation- Mailtisa Clinic

With the help of the community leadership in Mailtisa, we are able to make the clinic operational with one Nurse only attending huge numbers of patients. The clinic doesn’t have electricity and water, which is essential for the running of the clinic. We got a donation from the Sweden group at Enkokidong’oi through Samson Mwanana one of our Zion Baptist Church members. Please pray for this clinic, as we need medicine and more staff or volunteers to help.

Dresses For Needy Girls – Migori, Slum In Kisumu And Ongadi

“Dress The Girl Around The World” a Women Christian ministry in Tucson Arizona, USA in partnership with Unite 4 Africa, have donated new dresses for needy girls in the poorest communities around the world. In the month of June, Unite 4 Africa donated these dresses in villages of Migori, Ongadi and a Slum in Kisumu, all in western Kenya. This new dresses are putting smiles in faces of needy girls who for most of the time are in rags like clothes. We pray that girls will have an opportunity to dress in new clothes which gives them dignity and confidence to face life challenges as they grow up.
