Ghana Update-July 2018
“Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17)
Introduction
To God be the glory that His grace has been sufficient for us in the first half of the year. We look forward to the Lord to heed to the admonishing of Paul so as to live not as unwise but as wise in all our dealings with humanity and our relationship with He the Lord.
Open Crusade
By the mercies of God the unity of the body of Christ was manifested as we joined forces to hold a three days open crusade at the Savelugu market square. It was very thrilling to see brethren wholeheartedly serve with their time, strength and resources to see the good news of Jesus Christ preached to the unsaved.
30 Days turns into a regular prayer time for Revival
The 30 days prayer that began in the fasting period of our neighbors has evolved into a regular prayer session for revival in Northern Ghana and beyond. Brethren who are passionate for the unsaved and are willing to see the Church do more to activate the movement of the Holy Spirit to cause people that are held captive to be set free and join us in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mind shift Conference
A two days conference dubbed “Mind Shift” was organized for Pastors and Church leader to assist them to have shift of mind with regards to how to do ministry. Participants were assisted to identify how businesses could be started for the promotion of kingdom work and the enhancement of the lives of those who call on the Lord and for meeting the needs of the under privileged in society.
Presentation on CHE
A presentation on the overview of Community Health Evangelism (CHE) was made for the partner staff of CCFC who are in charge of child sponsorship and the visitation of children; these are sick children in the communities that they do community development work.
