KAJIADO
In July, the Maasai Church had an outreach for Karero area and the leadership thanks God for the fruits. It was encouraging to see a big number of men attending prayers. The Church leadership desires that many men change their hearts to the Lord.
Maasai men came forward to be prayed for during the outreach. The community is facing draught currently and many are now moving out of their homes looking for greener pasture. A good number of animals have died already.
Children have also been affected…
…with a good number missing school due to the nomadic trends during draught. Many areas now are having challenges keeping children in school
KATITO
Katito House of Hope Chapel carried out a teens seminar on the 19th of July 2014. The seminar was to teach the youth on time management and decision making. This was after an observation that the teens are always late and make poor decisions. Pastor Paul therefore took the initiative to teach the teens , alongside Pastor Moses Ogada of Bible Baptist Church.
Pastor Paul reports that since the training he has observed the teens keep time and hopes they will make good decisions too
Prayer Needs
1. Prayer for the provision of rains in Kajiado. The area is experiencing drought and the communities are migrating long distances in search of water and pasture
2. Lets pray for Kenya, peace love and unity to be anchored within the communities’ rubric.
