Ghana Update – October 2026

Passing on to another

The goat project is one of the projects that has brought great and lasting joy to families who hitherto were worried about the picture as a result of the passing of a parent or both parents of a child.

The culture that has been built in the lives of the beneficiaries of the goats’ project has yielded very positive results. As and when beneficiaries’ goats multiply, they willingly also donate one to another orphan who has not yet benefited to also receive one for a hopeful future.

Recently Alhassan Yakubu, a beneficiary of the project passed on a goat to Mohammed Mariama to rear and ensure hope of multiplication in the future to assist in meeting educational and family needs.

Continued sharing the Gospel on television

After the initial program on the television on the theme ‘Differences Between Light and Darkness – Characteristics of the Children of Light and the Children of Darkness’, the host and producer of the program felt the time was not sufficient to exhaust the topic and so Samson was called back to the studios to continue in other to exhaust the topic.

Both Christians and non-Christians alike had so many comments on the teachings on the television and wished it became a regular program for them to follow.

Ignite youth conference

The ignite youth conference which was initiated as an annual conference during the visit of the President of U4A, Dr. Okongo Samson to Ghana in the year 2025, had this year’s edition coming off in partnership with the Ghana International Baptist Youth Ministry.

The hundreds of youths who gathered for the conference were indeed, ignited to move out to use their giftings and potentials for the advancement of the kingdom of God and humanity wherever they find themselves in life.

Many of the youth felt charged and inspired to go the extra mile to serve and be of help to others in their communities and beyond.

Prayer needs

• Pray for all the Gospel efforts in the country- that lives will say yes to Jesus Christ through the efforts.
• Pray for Samson and Salomey as they consider restarting the Christian school in the Moglaa community.
• Pray that all the things fighting against the success of the Gospel in the nation will not succeed.
• Pray for the unreached people groups which are being considered in the country by different ministries, that the Lord will make a way for a breakthrough in those territories.

Yours in His Vineyard
