Ghana Update-November 2018
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. (Psalm 100:1-3).”
Introduction
We have every cause to say thank you to the Lord as the eleventh month of the year 2018 is right here with us. It will not be long we will celebrating the remembrance of a wonderful gift God gave to the world to offer hope of salvation and total transformation for mankind and the entire universe. Indeed, to God alone be the glory.
CHE Training
Samson was able to make it to the Volta region to help train four community committees in Community Health Evangelism with regards to what the CHE strategy is and the potential it has for community transformation and what is expected of the committee members in realising the kind transformation they desire for their communities.
Opportunity to assist a school
The Moglaa International Model School is asking Individuals, Churches and Corporate Partners to assist in the construction of a child-friendly learning environment for children to be impacted with the love of Christ. One of the old structures in the area that could be repurposed for this project, see below.
Sustainability Efforts
This year our maize farm failed us but there is hope for the rice fields. It will not be long we will be entering the main harvesting time for the rice and we trust the Lord for a good yield this year. This year witnessed so much rain which was destructive at one end with regards to the maize and a blessing on the other end in relation to the rice cultivation.
Prayer Needs
Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord. Pray for:
- Pray for peace of mind for the kids of Moglaa International Model School and open hearts to meet their infrastructure challenge.
- Farmers in Ghana as we have entered the season of harvesting of farm produce.
- The upcoming Women Cycle of Life TOT in Northern Ghana.
