Ghana Update – August 2019
“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:1-4)
Introduction
Our firm believe that Jesus is the Christ is very important with regards to our relationship with God the father. However, that believe even becomes more evident when it is translated into loving our fellow humans who are children of God. God is love and has commanded us to love and that will be a proof that we love God.

The seminar was organized by the John 10:16 group in collaboration with the Savelugu Local Council of Churches.

Samson held a meeting with the founder and leader of Globe Serve Missions in their Tamale office on possible partnership for the advancement of the kingdom of God. An invitation was extended to Samson to share with missionaries under training at their training school in Tamale hopefully in about a month time.
All Set for Marketplace Discipleship class
A total of thirty – one people have been registered to begin learning what is expected of the Christian who finds himself/herself at the market place. This is anticipated to equip members with practical ways by which they can live out Christlike lives at the marketplace. Values such as integrity, honesty, hard work etc are expected to be imbibed by members and to see themselves as missionaries at the market place.
Coaching Group
The Coaching group has begun practicing with families and friends lessons learnt on how to engage scripture through the Discovery Bible Studies (DBS), one of the Discipleship Making Movement (DMM) methods. Members are excited about the move and it is our prayer that this will lead to a boost of their confidence for the multiplication of Bible studies groups which will eventually culminate into the formation of house churches.
Construction at Moglaa Model School
The leadership of the Moglaa Model School were able to get the mason and his workers to move to site for start of the construction of a pavilion that will offer the school anew four classroom block. There was an altering of the initial plan based on the advice by the mason. Initially metal poles were to be used for the construction but there is a change for concrete pillars for durability and resistant to strong winds and rainstorms. Construction of the concrete poles is almost done and beams will be constructed on top of the poles to pave way for roofing to be done.
Prayer Needs
Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord.
- Continue to pray for the construction of infrastructure for the Model school in Moglaa. That the workers will be committed to the speedy completion of the work.
- Pray for the Lord’s provision for the achievement of the 2019 goals and funding needs.
- That the DMM activities will get rooted and multiplication will begin very soon.
