Note From The Unite4Africa Board – Oct 2013 –John Tabor

I’m sitting in a cool, comfortable room as I write this.  I’m completely hydrated  and satiated – I’m safe and don’t have any interference from flying or crawling insects. I am blessed beyond belief.  I’m certain that my circumstances are not all that different than yours.  But, such is not the case for those we serve in Kenya, Ethiopia and Ghana.

We are so very privileged – we have so many options in life and very, very few threats to our lives. There typically are myriad solutions to our problems.  Our change (pocket or otherwise) in many cases is more than what many make in the countries we serve in a week or month.  And yet, still, we have not truly listened to our Savior Who exhorts us to help the needy…to love our neighbors and to take His gospel to the ends of the earth.
