Note from the Board- August 2018

To all of you who sacrificially partner with us through your prayers, time and finances, the entire Board and our Staff would like to take this time to once again to thank you. We could not do the work God has placed in our hands to accomplish without each of you. So know you are in our prayers and thoughts daily thanking God for your servant hearts.

As you read each months articles from U4A, you see that thousands of lives are begin transformed for Christ throughout the continent of Africa. Unite 4 Africa does not take the credit, we just let God know that we are here for Him to use for His Kingdom purposes. And God has equipped us with His truth and grace to go out and love our neighbors.

One of the ways we do that is through training over 4000K leaders every year. And one of the tools we use is to have our direct report leaders go to and introduce others to the Global Leadership Summit annually so they can move from being good leaders to great leaders.

The most important training is empowering the leadership with tools to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ; the tools we use are Community Health Education (CHE), Scriptures in Use (SIU), and It’s All About Relationship (IAAR). CHE informs the community that we have come in Christ’s name to help them make a plan that is developed by the local leadership of the village, meaning what they would like to see changed in their village, along with those leaders prioritizing their list. Our Staff then brings in the expertise to teach the leadership, along with the men and women, of that village how to reach their goals as they come together as a community to make a difference in their own village. SIU gives our staff and the other 4000 plus leaders a tool for Oral Bible Story Teaching to their communities; in other words Discipleship. IAAR is a relational tool for sharing your faith in God, its four 35 to 45 minute lessons that are typically shared with another person, one each week for four weeks. Over these four weeks the person listening hears 116 scriptures; Roman’s 10:17 states “faith comes by hearing the word, and the word is of God.” And we know that God’s word never comes back void. And therefor lives are changed. We have a 90% conversion success rate with IAAR by the end of the third lesson. Changed people equals change villages, states, and even continents when they have the right tools.

How awesome is the work that all of us get to be a part of! It’s really awesome!!! Thank you God for using each of us, through the part we play, to help build your Kingdom! Praise you Father!!!

So how does our staff get in front of the leadership in these rural villages, by the use of some form of transportation. And I would like to share an exciting part of our Ethiopian Teams goal for 2018. They have been given up to $20,000 USD in a matching gift from an anonymous partner to establish a transportation business to help fund their travel needs.
