EMPOWERING GIRLS WITH DIGINITY PADS – ENOOSAMBURRMBURR SCHOOL
The local Maasai girls undergo more health challenges than their counterparts in the city. They face numerous challenges, in that their parents are not educated and may not understand the requirement for school going girls to have sanitary pads when they are having their menstrual cycle. Unite 4 Africa, comes in through their ministry and works in the communities where these local schools are and do capacity building and awareness among the Maasai girls and their parents, they provide the young girls with dignity pads to help keep the girls at school.

PRAYER SUMMIT AND HEALING PRAYER FOR PASTORS – ZION CHURCH
Unite 4 Africa, in its quest to empower the local pastors and church leaders, organized a prayer summit and brought a team from the USA to come train and equip the local pastors. We had a target of thirty pastors but they turned out more. This shows the thirst and the need to be empowered. The Kenya team is grateful to Unite 4 Africa for organizing such training and empowering church leadership.

GOATS FOR ORPHANS – KILALASH COMMUNITY
Many local orphans go through a lot as they either have lost both parents or have only one parent. Most of them are needy and live in vulnerable conditions. Unite 4 Africa, comes alongside communities to empower the orphans and vulnerable by giving a goat, cow or chicken depending on their community. The Maasai community depend mostly on cows and goats as their source of livelihood, hence U4A empowers by giving goats. This will give a young needy child dignity by having something he/she owns and takes care of. We thank all Unite 4 Africa partners and friends who come alongside to help empower the Maasai orphans.
