Kenya Update-June 2018

Church Planting- Partimaro

In the month of May, we did evangelism in two communities of Partimaro, impoorri near Mailtisa where 15 people converted and gave their lives to Christ. In Mambo Leo area in Kisumu County 46 people gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. We thank God we planted a church in Partimaro area, where a lady donated a piece of land to be used as a place of worship under a tree.  It is our prayer that they will grow into mature Christians.

House of Hope – Kisumu

Evangelism: The HOH has continued to thrive in evangelism and train leaders and Church members about Jesus Christ. The choir and the Rev Paul have continued with their passion to move around and move to places sharing Jesus Love. Also reaching for the kids at Hope Center.

Medical Outreach: HOH medical Centre is reaching out to poor communities where there are no roads to provide HIV Counseling and testing and provide HIV care to the community. We have people also getting special prayers and peer educator support. It also helps provide them with information on prevention of common diseases.

Orphans: Besides providing goats we also provide chicken to orphans. This will bring ownership and also provide neutron of protein to the family by having eggs and chicken meat. Also they can have income by selling the egg and chicks.

Clothes For Girls

In the month of May during our visit to the US to attend the International Wholistic Missions Conference and meet with the Unite 4 Africa board, a Christian ministry called “Dress A Girl around the World donated 428 new dresses for girls in Africa. We pray that the Lord may bless the leadership of Dress a Girl around the world.

Prayer Requests

• Katito Hope School: we need playground and also prayers needed for the completion of the library and computer room as learning is a key need in Kenya.
• For Medical wards construction
• Support for displaced member due to the flooding
• Pray for orphans support
• School completion of building construction and need of playground
• Pray for repair of road to Zion damaged by the floods
