KATITO
House of Hope
House of Hope Katito reports that they gave out the goats provided by U4A and also still working ways to get the cow as the rains have been scanty. The border clashes that took place in April/May also disrupted the school since many day schooling children didn’t attend classes.

They still support 138 orphans, 22 being at the orphanage and some in the villages. There have been incidences of other children looking for help from the centre’s gate, some being genuine while others just come.

U4A organized a Communications to oral cultures training (Bridges 1) training in Metto between 15th – 17th May 2014. The trainers were Reverend Moses and Pastor Paul. The training was attended by 13 men from the community. We hope the training will go along way to draw people closer to Jesus.

Praise and Thanks
1. The House of Hope Orphanage has been serving the children for 1 year on Sunday 8th June 2014.
Prayer Needs
1. Lets pray for the victorious journey with Christ for all the children who receive assistance from the House of Hope. And His provision for each of them.
2. Prayer for the provision of clean water in Katito, and Nyakach region as a whole. A good section of the country also face challenges with water provision and control
3. Lets pray for Kenya, which has faced challenges with security. Sporadic attacks on Kenyans by enemies of peace through explosions and cattle rustling.
