EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY
During the month of April we began a farming project at Enkokidongoi Baptist church to empower the local people on farming and crop growing as an alternative way of living. There has been long months of draught and has affected the Maasai as cows dye during these months. This month we bring the good news that this Church is harvesting good crop and its members learn to use solar powered pumps to pump water from the flowing stream.

MEN EVANGELISM
This month, at Mailitisa we trained 16 men to do evangelism. We realized we can do more evangelism by empowering men on how to witness to other men. The Maasai use to interact at water points or market places and share news about families. We intent to use the same methods to share our experiences after accepting Jesus Christ with others.

WOMEN LEARNING TO READ THE SCRIPTURES
Unite for Africa, for a while now together with partners have been issuing Maasai bibles. Many of the women are taking time to learn how to read the Bible though they never went to School. It is very encouraging and inspiring to see these women read scriptures. Please pray that many may come to know Christ through these women.

PRAYER REQUEST
- Please pray for the security in Kenya. Many continue to lose their lives through terror attacks. The terrorist have resorted to target the innocent in public places and spreading fear in learning institutions like schools and colleges.
- Please pray for the rains. The Maasai are moving again in search of green pasture after receiving short rains in May.
- Thank God for the Men learning evangelism and Women learning the scriptures.
