Kenya Update – December 2016

Nyabohanse Bridges Training

During the month of November, Rev Charles Okech one of the trainers conducted training for pastors and church leaders. A total of twenty-five attended this training. Nyabohanse is at the western part of Kenya, which is partially Muslim dominated. This area is also pre-dominantly Kuria community who are still attached to traditions. Kurias still don’t have a complete Bible in their language, so they are only using the New Testament.

House Of Hope Primary School Construction

The house of Hope has started construction for school classrooms for Orphan children. It is taking time to get enough resources to complete and more prayers are needed for many doors of support to open to enable HoH to complete these classrooms.

Bibles For Tanzania Maasai – Gilgal Baptist Church

The Maasai of Tanzania across the border from Namanga Kenya, are coming to the Lord through church plants, but do not have the Bible in Maasai. In the month of November Rev Moses Rianto partnered with Rev Solomon Kaako of Gilgal Baptist Church, Kimokowua Tanzania to take Bibles to these brothers and sisters. Please pray that God open ways for more Bibles in this region. In the month of December 2016 we will have a meeting of thousands at Enkare Naiborr, Longido district Tanzania.

Global Leadership Summit – Kisumu

Unite 4 Africa leaders in Kenya were privileged to have opportunity to attend this global leadership summit, which was in Citam church in the City of Kisumu, Kenya. This has been an empowering, eye opener for our leaders here in Kenya. It is a one of a kind training for leaders in Africa. Some of the topics that stand out. “Unquestionable ways to expand your Leadership Reach” by Jossy Chacko. Taking risk by taking steps of Faith and growing multiplying vision by empowering other people. This Summit is needed in most parts our country and we pray many will have opportunity like we had to help communities through what we learned. Leaders for Unite 4 Africa, Kenya would really like to thank Unite 4 Africa Inc. USA board and their partner Pantano Christian Church for supporting us to attend this Leadership summit.
