“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
(Hebrews 11:1)
Introduction
Greetings from the land of Ghana in West Africa with a high sense of hope and conviction that the Lord has something great in store to impact lives in Ghana and beyond.
Community Meeting at Kpaachehi
A meeting was held at the Kpaachehi community in the Adiboo Hub to discuss the commencement of the Rain Water Harvesting Tanks project. It was a lively meeting with so much cooperation and enthusiasm by the community members.
“We are very much ready to host anyone who will come to assist us in getting potable drinking water”
was one of the expressions by the community members who were very delighted for the meeting.
Commencement of Water Project
Work has begun in earnest on the Rain Water Harvesting Tanks construction. Construction works are moving on well and will soon be completed. Community participation has been great with so much team work and community ownership exhibited.
Capacity Building Workshop
Samson Abukari participated in a Libre Leadership and Communication Course designed to assist leaders of institutions and NGOs in developing countries. It was organized by the Libre Foundation in the Netherlands in partnership with the Community Partnership for Youth and Women Development in Tamale.
Basic, but practical principles of leadership and principles of active listening, two-way communication, giving and receiving feedback were some of the topics participants went through.
Prayer Needs
- Direction from the Lord as we plan for the future
- Provision for a means of transport
- Successful completion of the water project at Kpaachehi
To all the partners who have graciously continued to give their resources and time for prayer for the sustenance for this ministry. God richly Bless you.
For those out there who have been thinking of where to give their resources for a meaningful impact I extend a warm invitation to you and I assure that your gift will be judiciously used to create the desired Christ impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
Yours in His Vineyard
Samson Abukari
