Ghana Update-May 2018

“And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.” (John 10:16)  

INTRODUCTION

The desire of the Lord is to see the other sheep brought into the sheepfold. We are some days away from this year’s month of fasting of our “neighbors”.  Our “neighbors” and others have still not found their way into the sheepfold and that should be the focus of every follower of Christ to contribute towards the bringing of the other sheep into the sheepfold.

CHILDREN CHE TOT 1

We had Children CHE TOT 1 training for teachers of the Moglaa International Model School. This is to equip them with the needed knowledge to start Children CHE in the school. After the start in the school it is intended that similar Children CHE program will be started in the surrounding communities, which feed the school with pupils.

30 DAYS PRAYER

As the Ramadan fasting period gets closer we are planning a partnership with a number of Churches and Christian organizations for us to pray the 30 days prayer alongside our “neighbors” as they embark on the month long fasting. During the period we will be interceding for their salvation and the empowerment of the Church to do more towards winning them for Christ.

PRAYER RETREAT

The Pastors of the Ghana International Baptist Convention held a 4-day prayer retreat to intercede for the church and the nation. Prayers were also said for the unsaved that the church of Jesus Christ will be empowered with new workable strategies to reach out to them.

PRAYER NEEDS

• Pray for the raising of a committed training team for Bridges training.
• Pray for God’s visitation and revelation of the saving grace of Jesus Christ to our “neighbors” as they embark on the month long fasting.
• Pray for farmers as they begin preparation in readiness for the rains so that the farming season can start.
• Pray for Duko community which has been adopted by Samson to help the believers in the community to be equipped and made examples of Christ for the rest of the community.
