Ghana Update-March 2018
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
Introduction
What a great joy to have the opportunity to have Brethren in Christ who share in the burden and passion to extend the love of Christ to our broken world especially, in the area one is serving. We appreciate the Lord for all those who pray and give their resources to support work in the areas that U4A is reaching out.
2018 West Africa CHE Internship
Samson was privileged to be part of the 2018 Community Health Evangelism (CHE) Internship that took place in Accra. Samson and the other participants from other countries were exposed to the deep insights of the CHE strategy and how that can enhance the transformation that we desire in Africa and beyond.
Field visit to Northern Ghana
Samson was tasked to lead the interns to Tamale to see practically some CHE implementation strategies and to have some hands on experience on some of the processes. Intentionally using education to meet a need and minister to communities, empowerment of people through technology, micro enterprise development and lay dentistry were among the scenes visited by the team.
Moving into the future
The future has great prospects for positive impact on the communities over here using the CHE strategies. We shall be raising some training teams for the implementation of children’s CHE and Women Cycle of Life and the identification of potential Micro enterprise Development opportunities.
Prayer Needs

- Pray for God’s guidance for the Interns who successfully graduated from the CHE internship to be able to implement the lessons learnt
- Pray for Samson as he is expected to play an enhanced role in the CHE network in Ghana.
