Ghana Update – July 2020

“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” (Psalm 78:4)

Introduction 

In the midst of a global crisis the praise worthy deeds of the Lord, his power and the wonders he has done is evident and cannot and will not hide them from our descendants. We will forever proclaim the goodness of the Lord to humanity especially, the under privileged. Hope is assured for that is the promise of the giver of hope. He is ever ready to come to the rescue of those who desperately need Him and the hope that He offers. 

Farming Season

This year’s farming season has began in earnest and we are at it again to ensure that some local funding contributions can be attained from the expected harvest. So far a peanut farm has been cultivated and plans are far advance to add about five acres of rice and an acre maize and vegetable garden.

Radio Speaking Appointments

Aside the weekly radio program dubbed “Seed of Hope Broadcast”, Samson has been having some radio speaking appointments with other radio stations in the region. He speaks on varying topics tailed toward offering hope and better future to the youth and Church in the midst of a global pandemic.

 

Opening for DMM Establishment 

Samson has been speaking recently in communities with little presence of the Church and there positive signs for the possible establishment of Discovery Bible Studies groups in two of such communities. We are looking forward to the leading of the Holy Spirit for effective means to expose members of the communities to the Gospel. 

A Testimony from the Seed of Hope Broadcast

It was gratifying to hear a testimony by a woman who had the chance to listen briefly to the one of the weekly radio broadcast dubbed “Seed of Hope Broadcast” she said “ I do not know the Pastor but listen to him briefly on radio has changed my life completely” the negative perception I had about other members of my family has completely changed just by listening to him.

Prayer Needs

Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord. 

• Pray for the peace and hope of the Lord to the entire globe.
• Praise God for the testimonies from the Seed of Hope Broadcast and continue to pray that God will be glorified through the broadcast. 
• Lift up farmers and the farming season that there will be good rain to bring about bumper harvest.
• Ask for opportunities for people to be exposed to the Gospel.
