Ghana Update – Feb 2015 – Samson Abukari U4A Country Director, Ghana

Introduction

It is a great privilege for Christ to stand in for us that we are made TOTALLY free and not only free but that in Christ we have received the qualification to be partakers in the blessing of Abraham – what a privilege?. It is our hope and prayer that everyone will catch a glimpse of this great privilege and make every effort to enjoy it.

Team and Spouses Meeting

The Ghana team of Unite 4 Africa had a meeting with their spouses to help them understand the vision of Unite 4 Africa to help them see how best way they can assist their husbands in carrying the mantle of the needed transformation in Africa and the entire world.

Sometime was devoted for lifting up our brothers and sisters of the “Angel Hearts” Life Group before God and we trust that the Lord has begun changing situations for the “Angel Hearts” Life Group members in Tucson AZ.

Presentation of Goats to Orphans

The orphans’ project was boosted with the purchase and presentation of 11 more goats to orphans from Unite 4 Africa’s orphans’ project. Each of them was very thankful to God and the donors for the gift. The goats they received are doing well with some of them getting ready to give birth to kids.

   

Leadership training for women’s ministry

Samson was the main speaker for the leadership training for the International Baptist Women’s Ministry at the Ghana International Baptist Convention. The program brought together over 60 women from various international Baptist Churches for the training.

 

Prayer Needs

Join us in going to the Lord with the following prayer needs: 

• Continue to pray for countries hit by the outbreak of the Ebola virus.

• Praise the Lord for Church planting work in the world and pray that all barriers working against progress be broken so that the unreached can partake in the saving grace of Christ.

• Continue to pray for the upcoming Bridges for Neighbors Training that will start in about a month’s time.
