Ghana Update – Dec 2013
Ghana Update – December 2013 – Samson Abukari U4A Director, Ghana
“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God.” (Galatians 4:4-7)
Introduction
From the land of Ghana in West Africa we rejoice that we are made part of what the Lord has done to offer mankind the opportunity to be adopted as sons who are no longer slaves but heirs through God. We greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Update of Water Project
To God be the glory great things He has done. Technically, work on the Rain Water Harvesting Tanks construction for the Kpaachehi community has completed.
Construction has been completed and painting of the tanks has also been done and the two 30,000 litre capacity tanks are ready for harvesting water. Currently what is left is the branding aspect of the tanks.

Community Health Evangelism/Empowerment Seminar
As part of the preparations for a strong take off in 2014, Samson Abukari participated in a 5 days Community Health Evangelism/Empowerment seminar organized by Hope Alive Initiative, one of the potential collaborating local partners of U4A Ghana who are actively implementing CHE in some communities in Northern Ghana.

Revival Meeting
Samson played a key role in the organization of a revival meeting at the Kukuo Baptist Church and facilitated a 3 hour counselling session on the last the day of the revival. It was an encouraging moment and spurred many people on to remain committed to their walk with Jesus.
Appreciation
I want to use this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the partners and supporters of U4A. Your gracious gift is making an impact in the lives of individuals and communities. Thanks for keeping up the great work and be assured that it is not just us who have noticed your sacrifices but our Lord who rewards every action of us has seen your efforts and reward such efforts accordingly.
We specifically, want to mention Pantano Christian Church for their provision of funds for the water project for the Kpaachehi community.
Answered Prayers
Thanks for your unceasing mention of our needs, concerns and petitions to the Lord. Last month you prayed for the provision for a means of transport and successful completion of the water project at Kpaachehi. Please join us in praising the Lord for what the Lord has done for us in that direction. We need to praise God for what He has done already even as we look forward to a complete answer.
Prayer Needs
• Fruitful trip and training for Okongo as he comes to Ghana
• God’s leading to a faithful seller for a strong vehicle that is prepared for the work in Ghana
• Protection and meaningful reflection as we enter the Christmas and New year season
Yours in His Vineyard
