Ghana Update – August 2024
‘This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. ‘(1 John 4:9-10)
INTRODUCTION
God has been so gracious to us and has shown us His great love so that we can also graciously extend this love that the Lord has shown us to our fellow human being so that they can also live through the son of God just as we have the opportunity to live through Him.
SEED OF HOPE BROADCAST
To God alone be the glory for who He is and for what He is doing through the Seed of Hope Broadcast. Testimonies keep coming in week after week of how listeners are being blessed through the weekly broadcast. Madam Comfort a regular listener called in and said “I don’t know how to thank God for this program. I can confidently say that I am a transformed person now as a result of the program. We should have been contributing financially in order to keep the program on air and even though we are able to do that now I pray for all those sacrificing to keep this program on air- that God will bless them abundantly”. Mr. Abdul-Rahaman another regular listener called and said, “ I called your personal phone line to let you know that we listen to Seed of Hope program every week but we are unable to call in because of the network reception. It is indeed a good Christian program which is blessing many people. Thank you and God bless you”.
GOATS’ PROJECT
Sometimes it is amazing that what looks insignificant in the sight of someone can be a life transformation trigger for another person. This statement is true with the goats’ project that Unite 4 Africa provides to orphans which has been a great source of hope to beneficiary orphans and their families.
The joy that greets beneficiaries and their families when receiving the goats is an awesome moment to behold as most them either had lost hope or never expected that such kind of love would be extended to them.
DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
The discipleship training that was began some few months ago has consistently gone to the end and a graduation carried out. Let us continue to pray for the sustenance of the children who went through this program, that the Holy Spirit will continue to work in their hearts and use the lessons to give them a firm foundation in the Lord, especially in the two communities where there are no churches, yet the children willingly participated in the training to the very end.
PRAYER NEEDS
- Pray for the participants of the discipleship program carried out in three different communities that the Lord will use the lessons to stir them up to genuine faith in Him.
- Thank God for the Church-wide worship night that brought people together to worship.
- Ask for greater grace for the Seed of Hope weekly broadcast so that God will be glorified through the broadcast and lives transformed for His kingdom.
Yours in His Vineyard
