Ghana Update-April 2019
“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,” (Deuteronomy7:6-9)
Introduction
Our Faithful God is indeed worthy to be trusted for all that He has continued to do for us over the months and years. Relying on Him to always lead us through His grace has brought about great hope and joy not just the Unite 4 Africa community alone but to our partners and the individual lives and that of the communities we have helped to touch with the love of Christ.
Visit by Paula
It was a great privilege hosting Paula a staff of Medical Ambassadors who does consultations and facilitation for Women Cycle of Life materials and training. She happened to visit Northern Ghana before heading to the Volta Region to do facilitation at the 2019 CHE internship training held in Ghana. She was delighted to see what Unite 4 Africa is doing in Northern Ghana.
Women Cycle of Life Training
The visit of Paula offered us an opportunity to do a follow-up training of Women Cycle of Life Training for Women in around Savelugu. It was very encouraging seeing the participants lead their colleagues in recapping all that they had learnt in the past year. The training ended with three of the women making commitment to partner Unite 4 Africa in taking lessons they have acquired through women Cycle of Life Training to other communities in the Savelugu District of Ghana.
Story Telling Training
All is set now for the Coaching Group to begin learning a set of Bible stories which they will be using in the form of Bible Story Telling and drama to facilitate Discovery Bible Studies that they will be forming as we make progress in our Discipleship Making Movement (DMM) efforts.
CHE Internship Facilitation
Samson was offered the privilege to facilitate in this year’s Community Health Evangelism (CHE) internship which was held at the Africa CHE Internship centre in Volta Region of Ghana. It was an awesome opportunity to interact with different nationalities and to hear the hearts of like –minded people who are making effort to bring about transformation to our world.
Prayer Needs
Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord.

- Pray for the women who are willing to partner with U4A to promote Women Cycle of Life Training in the Savelugu area.
Yours in His Vineyard
