Ghana Update-April 2018
“We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (1John 5:9-12)
Introduction
The Love of our Lord to the world will always be remembered at Easter at which time the hope for the world and mankind was fulfilled. The death and resurrection of the Saviour of the world will forever not just be historic but a moment of reflection on how deep the love of God is for the world and his people. He is risen and because of that we have hope for our own resurrection.
Renewed Commitment To Share Gods Love
It was all joy at the climax of this year’s Easter Convention of the Ghana International Baptist Convention at the Duko community. The community is the one Samson has adopted and is assisting the Baptist Church in the community. The need for us as people who have been showed love by Christ to also share with others what we have received in the death and resurrection of the Lord.
Possible Partnerships
Samson moved to the Volta Region of Ghana where there is a strong desire for collaboration and partnership in both Bridges Training and Community Health Evangelism. Pastors and Church leaders will be organized in the area for the possible first training to take place.
Agricultural Training
Agricultural training facilitated by ECHO and Hope Alive in Tamale for Church Pastors, leaders and community development workers. This is a great tool for assisting underprivileged farmers to do farming in a manner that God designed farming to be done based on how we relate to the environment.
Prayer Needs
- Praise God for the successful remembrance of the gift of God to the world in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Pray for God’s guidance in the pursuit of possible partnerships that will lead to greater works in other regions of Ghana.
- Pray for the upcoming International Board Meeting of U4A.
Yours in His Vineyard,
