1. Disciple Making Movement /DMM/ and its impact.
Pastor Demerew Augechew is one of our master trainers and Disciple – Making movement builders. After he took the training of the Jesus’ Way of disciple making; he trained 13 people from his local church in Addis Ababa.
Sister Bethlehem Muluneh is one of his trainees and disciples. She works in the Korean Hospital in Addis Ababa as a nurse. She started to train 7 other nurses and medical staff in the Hospital with the same training that she received from Pastor Demirew.
One of the disciples of Sister Bethlehem took that training and applied it by starting a disciple making group at her home. And through this group 2 people from her neighborhood have come to know Jesus.
This is the impact story of our DMM that God started in our midst. The movement has been continuing and is transforming many lives and churches. Praise God!

2. Another up-coming Mass Baptism event
This is just for your encouragement, to praise God and to help you continue to pray for us and our ministry: –
We are organizing another mass baptism event for next month. And 1,200 people are ready to get baptized in the river in this time. This happens by the strategy and method that we are using to do outreach in the Jesus’ Way. Those methods are relational streams and through our small disciple making groups.
Our trainings have been contributing huge and I thank God for that. Majority of those precious souls have come from the background of the bondage and darkness of witchcraft and Islam.
Mass Baptism Event
A couple of weeks ago I was in Adama/ Nazareth/ to do all the work of preparations and to have meetings with our local leaders. Some of the prayer requests that I received from our local leaders are as follows: –
a. Pray for me and our leaders as we organize this great event for all the work of preparation and plan of logistics.
b. Pray for the Holy Spirit to come in our midst and fill all those new converts. We may baptize them by water but Jesus can baptize them by fire and by the Holy Spirit.
c. Pray for God’s provision for us to help them to provide buses for their transportation and bread and water. Because the majority of them will come from far villages and they may not get food to eat on their way.
d. We have also a plan to donate to them Bibles on that day; so, pray for us that God would provide for us to be able to raise funds for Bible donations.
3. Commissioning, releasing and sending-out Disciple Making Movement/DMM/ multipliers.
A few weeks ago, we have had a good time of graduation ceremony in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 13 pastors have graduated after they completed a 1 ½ year DMM training. They have covered 4 main modules of the trainings that will help them to understand the Jesus’ Way of Disciple – Making movement.
On that graduation day we commissioned, released and sending them out through prayer to go and make many more disciples. We thank God for this movement.
4. Conclusion and Requests
The followings are praises and prayer request items to pray about with us: –
• Praise God for our DMM movement. It is being expanded and growing.
• Pray for our upcoming mass baptism event and all the prayer requests mentioned,
• Pray for our DMM leaders that God would continue use them to grow this movement in every region of the country and beyond.
