Ethiopia Update – October 2019
1. Our goat’s project continues
God has given us the opportunity to bless our local missionaries and their families with goats. In parallel with supporting orphans by giving them goats; we have expanded our goat project by providing our local missionaries who are serving in the villages and remote areas goats.
Our local missionaries are serving through various challenges and hardships. Most of them have a family with an average of 5 children and difficult for them to feed. So, our leadership team has decided to bless our local missionaries as beneficiaries of our goat project so that their families get support so they can keep serving God with a lighter burden.
To address the needs of our local missionaries we have raised a significant amount of money locally and were able to distribute 64 goats for our 64 local missionaries and their families. They were so exited and thanked God for this provision. They said that the support will help their families in many ways. They know that goats in their area are very fast to reproduce and the weather is suitable for them. So, in the near future they will be able to get milk for their children and feed their families and buy school supplies from their many goats. We thank God for them!!!

2. Our annual general assembly meeting for this year
Every year it is a blessing for us to see all our leaders across the country come together for our annual general assembly. Hundreds of leaders have gathered together last week and had a very good meeting. We got encouraged to hear their testimony and how God is doing amazing things in their regions. According to the report of two regions more than 1,500 new believers have come to Christ, 2,500 new converts have taken water baptism and more than 500 new churches have been planted in the past six months. We thank God!!!

In our general assembly meeting we have graduated 30 leaders who have completed our one-year leadership development program. This program is designed for our young & new emerging leaders to equip them with all biblical leadership principles, skills and the required behavior.
We prayed for them by laying our hands on them and gave them a certificate that tells they have successfully completed the program. We thank God for our new leaders!!!
