Ethiopia Update- February 2017

Master Training Event in Arbaminch, Southern Region of Ethiopia

The town Arbamich is one of our new training hub which is located more than 400KM far from the Capital city of Addis Ababa in the South-west direction of Ethiopia. We have more than 10 churches in that area. God is doing great things in that region.

 

Last month I, Samson Weldemariam went to the town and trained 10 Master trainers for that region. We had a very good time of training, mentoring and leadership development, private time with our leaders. I believe that the training will help our leaders to train more leaders in the area so that our movement will keep going and expanding to impact many lives in the region.

Training and Consultation event in Welenchity, Central part of Ethiopia

The town Welenchity is one of the small-town that God is doing great things in Ethiopia. To accelerate God’s movement in the area empowering leaders is very important. I had a very good time of training and consultation with more than 20 leaders and local missionaries.

We were sharing our best practices and challenge each other so that the participants have got many lessons from one another. One of the great encouragements to me from them was 1,100 new converts are ready to be baptized next month March/2017. What an amazing God we serve!!!

Christmas celebration with our orphans

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with our orphans in Welenchity. Our orphans really enjoyed the sweet drinks, biscuits and the fellowship with the leaders and their guardians.

Here under is our prayer request for you as you always lift us in your prayers:-

• Thank God for enabling us to train many leaders in various regions of the country.
• Please pray for our planning of all our training events that have been scheduled for this New Year. May God would provide us all the required budgets and use it to change many lives for His Glory.\
• Please keep praying for all our ministers and families for protections and all their needs to be met by our mighty God.
• Kindly pray for wonjishawa school projects. We have come up with a plan in this year to build additional class rooms.
