God’s Miracle in Sarra/Yaya Village
We have been experiencing God’s miraculous intervention in our church planting movements and activities. Recently, God has opened an open door for us to preach the Gospel and plant a church in the village called Sarra/Yaya. This village was bounded by the power of darkness through witchcrafts. The residences of the village were in bondage and fear because they know the power of the curse of the witchcrafts.
Just last month we conducted a gospel meeting in that village. One of the prominent witchcrafts in the area heard that the Christians were having a gospel meeting in his village. He got angry and decided to go to the meeting place and stop them by his power. As the believers were praying and worshipping God, he arrived to the meeting compound with his few body-guards. However, he wasn’t able to enter the compound due to the strong presence of God and he just got stuck. None of the believers noticed what was happening because all of them were in prayer and worshipping by closing their eyes.
Some minutes later, the young man who was leading the prayer opened his eyes and saw the witchcraft was standing at the gate of the compound with his people. Since the guy knew the witchcraft very well, he was shocked and asked the congregation to pray more in the name of Jesus. While they were praying in the name of Jesus, the witchcrafts collapsed and fell down on the ground and started screaming because the evil spirit inside of him was struck by the power of God. When his people saw the situation they tried to carry him and leave the area but they could not do so because the power of God also fell upon them.
Finally, our ministers went out and approached them and asked them to pray for him and for them. They agreed and our leaders prayed for them. The witchcraft got delivered but sadly he refused to accept Jesus Christ because he felt embarrassed and shame. But five of his men accepted Jesus Christ right there because they saw the power of Jesus. After the witchcraft left the area, the power of God empowered all the believers in the meeting and the saints praised God in shouting and songs. The fear of the Lord has controlled that village. More people keep coming to Christ even after the meeting. A few days later we heard that the witchcraft left the area and moved to another village. We thank God for His great work.

Leadership development program in Adama/Nazareth
Leadership development is one of the key programs in our ministry. We have training hubs in various towns in the country. One of our training hubs is found in Nazareth/Adama/ town. In the past years we have trained thousands of leaders and local missionaries. We have just started our 8th round of leaders training and development program in our regional office training center in Nazareth.
More than 25 leaders were recruited from that region and took the training. I, Samson Weldemariam, conducted the training on the topic of Team Building. One of the training participants said after the training that so far he was struggling to do things by himself alone but now he has learnt that building a team is very important for the advancement of the kingdom of God. I thank God for this program.

Field visit and encouragement ministry by or coordinator
Pastor Tadesse Alemayehu who is our regional coordinator and his team are doing great things in equipping our local missionaries and empowering them to accelerate our mission work in Nazareth area. Recently, he visited one of our local churches in Meki town. They had a good time in discussion with the local leaders. Meki town is one of the potential towns in the region that needs the gospel to be preached. Since the town is a business center, especially vegetables & agricultural products highly produced and sold out, many people from all over the country come to seek jobs and do business. So, our leaders have agreed to plan strategically how they would reach out to these people by the Gospel of Jesus.
After the meeting our leadership team encouraged the congregation and preach during the church services. Our ground leaders in the town got encouraged and inspired to do more in the town.

- Pray for our new classrooms construction project, may God would help us to complete it timely.
- Pray for our leadership training & development program, may God would enable and provide us all the necessary resources so that we may train and develop more leaders in the future.
