2021 Year In Review

Dear Friends and Partners,

Your interest in what God is doing through Unite 4 Africa has meant more to us than we can express in words. It tells us a lot about your heart for sharing Christ with others.

So many people in Africa and beyond have been impacted this past year. But let me introduce you to just one of them – a 70 year old Maasai named Gladys in Kenya.  Her heart for reaching her village for Christ shines like a beacon of hope in the community.  With no idea how to plant a church, she started praying under a tree outside her home with three of her granddaughters. Everyone thought she was out of her mind, but for months God’s spirit compelled her to never give up.  No church heard about her, but one day Unite 4 Africa’s Rev Moses Rianto visited the area and there to greet him was faithful prayer warrior Mama Gladys who convinced her husband and sons to donate a piece of land to plant a church with the help of Unite 4 Africa and our faithful supporters.  God honored Gladys’ faithfulness and many in the community have now come to know Christ through her, including the current pastor of this church.

This is just one of so many ways God has used partners with Unite 4 Africa. I wanted to give you an update on just some of what God accomplished in 2021:  

• 17,486 people gave their lives to Christ, 6,158 new believers baptized, and 2,087 house churches started.
• 4,473 leaders were trained to help transform Africa for Christ. 23 leaders received motorbikes.
• 21,156 people were given medical treatment and 4,547 girls received dignity hygiene pads to stay in school.
• 4,540 orphans received animals, 470 were adopted within their communities, and 8,077 other orphans were assisted in some form.
• 2,315 children in 6 schools received a Christ-honoring education.
• 8,209 teenage victims of abuse received counselling care and spiritual healing.
• 14 water catchment tanks were provided in 14 schools and 2 boreholes drilled.

There is so much to accomplish and so many more lives to reach with the Gospel every month in 2022. We’re praying that this year many of our friends will join us as monthly financial partners. As always, our commitment is to use every dollar you sow into Unite 4 Africa to touch more lives with the love and salvation message of Christ in 2022.
