Note From The Board – April 2013
Note From The Unite4Africa Board – April 2013 – Paul Nzomo
Dear supporters and our directors in Africa, a lot has been happening in our ministry in Africa, which could not have happen without the grace of our Lord and your support.
Kenyan’s went to the polls in big numbers, people were waiting on line for 3 – 5 hours and some the whole day to cast their historical vote for the President, Senators, Governors, House of Representatives and Women Representatives. The election was peaceful. Although the presidential election was challenged in court, the people waited patiently for more than 2 weeks for the Supreme Court to decide the presidential winner.
After the Supreme Court made the decision Kenyan people accepted the decision and moved on as one county. We would like to thank our Lord and People of Kenya for a peaceful transition.
Also our staff in Kenya, Ethiopia and Ghana have seen God’s movement grow as more and more people give their life to Him as they come to know our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. All this continues to grow through the ministry training we do through CHE (Community Health Evangelism), Bridges, and Sanctity of Human Life. You have likely read about each of these trainings in previous newsletters.
Unite4Africa has also been blessed to bless many orphans with adoption into a local family and the gift of an animal to help sustain them and their new family.
Our partners have also blessed many school children with mosquito nets which helps them remain healthy and in school.
For the U.S.A board we had a wonderful month of March. We are in early stages of our Fall Golf event. We will keep you posted.
God bless all and keep up the God word. We have a saying in my native language – “one figure cannot kill a lice”, meaning that “as a team we can do wonders.”
God Bless
Paul Nzomo
