The Journey of a Life-Giver training at Ololepo Discipleship Hub
We live in a world where human life is violated and devalued in numerous ways, but God is raising Believers in Christ to join Him in redeeming, healing and restoring humanity to reflect His image on the earth. A training on the sanctity of life was conducted at Ololepo as part of the discipleship program and was greatly appreciated.
Through the generous giving of Unite 4 Africa and all our partners, this training was made possible. One of the participants, Gladys Mokoi spoke on behalf of the participants appreciating how the training was helpful and interactive such that they were equipped to practical life-giving actions to correct and prevent human life violations.

CHAPLAINCY TRAINING – KAJIADO
U4A’s reach goes beyond the local churches into the institutions in the communities, thanks to the continued generosity of our partners. Many of the schools, prisons and hospitals in the Maasai region, rarely have pastoral care programs. It is with this in mind, that we planned for training for pastors, to empower them with basic knowledge on chaplaincy, so they can use it in the schools and hospitals in their communities. In Mathew 25:43, Jesus Christ stated clearly that in visiting the sick and those in prison is close to His heart and that it is service to Him. It is a blessed opportunity to minister to them and let the light of Christ shine in their brokenness and darkness. Over 50 pastors traveled long distances to come and receive the training. It is our prayer that they will go out to those institutions and provide spiritual and emotional support while sharing the love of God.

ORPHANS HOPE RESTORED
Mary, (14 years old) and Serah (16 years old) are sisters and living with their elderly and sickly grandmother in a village in Mbitini, Kitui. Their mother and father died in 2017 and 2019 respectively. They mostly depend on well-wishers for their sustenance.
Their dream to go through high school was nearly thwarted when they dropped out of school last year due to lack of school fees but thankfully, through the support of our U4A partners, they are now back to school. After school, they help the grandmother by fetching water from the river one kilometer away and often arrive back after twilight. The joy of their resumption of school is shared by the community members as their faces beam with hope for a brighter future.
