“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)”
There is joy and excitement when brotherly love and unity is experienced and that is why Unite 4 Africa is so essential in this age and time.
HOSTED UNITE 4 AFRICA’S MISSION DIRECTOR
It was a great honor to host Pastor Maina Rukenya in Ghana. It was a great joy having him bring greetings to the international Baptist Church members. It was a time of bonding, thinking through issues and moving to the field together to see some of the impact of U4A programs on individual lives and communities.
One of the most exciting things is to see orphans and their mothers eager to get their picture taken with their goats. “We don’t have enough and enough words to thank you for this precious gift we have received from U4A” said an elated mother of an orphan. In most cases we can only pray that God bless those who are far away but have thought of us and the future of our children. Once again thanks to all partners of U4A for bringing back hope and smiles to orphans and their mothers.
CHURCH WIDE CONVENTION
Samson was the main speaker for the Churchwide convention of the International Baptist Church that brought together over 500 participants. The main theme for the convention was “Be a Good Steward for Christ.” It was a time of reflecting together who a steward is, what the characteristics of a good steward are and what it takes to be a good steward.
Pastor Maina had the privilege to share a word of hope during his visit in our weekly program dubbed Seed of Hope Broadcast. He spent time to tell listeners that it does not matter their current state but what matters most is what God has said about them for He has made all persons in His own image. Knowledge of what God thinks about you has the power to change one’s life. One of the listeners called in and said I am truly encouraged because for me I have been looking at what I don’t have in life.
• Continue to pry for the power of the Holy Spirit to bring about genuine transformation in the lives or all the listeners in the weekly radio broadcast.
• Praise the Lord for the successful quarterly training of Church planters and Disciple makers in three different locations in Ghana.
• Pray for the upcoming trainers conference in Lomé Togo.
• Pray for the preparation for expansion and new work of the TTI work in Ghana.
Yours in His Vineyard
