Ghana Updates – March 2021
“Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:31-32)
Introduction
Sometimes the Church can easily become in ward looking and forget about the teaming number of people who are without the Gospel. It is good to be reminded of those who really need the services of the Church and begin to give them the needed attention. Jesus said he came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. May that be the focus of today’s Church also.
Graduation Ceremony for Church planting Trainees
Four of the trainees in Church planting and making of Disciples through The Timothy Initiative Samson was facilitating have successfully graduated. It has been a great learning period and it is our prayer that wonderful results will begin to emerge with Church plants in difficult areas becoming a reality.
Outreach to the unsaved
We had the privilege of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ for two days to the inhabitants of a community. It was an awesome moment even though, we did not have people readily saying yes to Jesus Christ, we had others who are interested in the gospel but they are waiting to hear from their husbands.
Goats Project
Have you ever thought that a gift of a goat can change the life a child and an entire family? That is what we see in the life of children mostly orphans whose lives have been transformed and offered hope for a better future. Consider partnering with Unite 4 Africa to also be a channel of blessing in the live of an orphan.
Radio Broadcast
The Lord has been faithful to us as He causes the weekly broadcast to continue to engage more following week after week. Amazingly those who are not yet believers continue to listen and sometimes call into the program to ask questions for clarification. It is indeed offering hope to numerous people weekly.
Recognition for service
Samson was appreciated and given recognition for his leadership in leading and facilitating a church planting and disciples making training center. The Timothy Initiative International Coordinator for the English – Speaking West Africa did the recognition alongside the National Director for Ghana.
Prayer Needs
• Pray for the continued outreach to the Kparigilanyili community where many are still afraid to say yes to Jesus that seekers will be bold to identify with Jesus.
• The Covid -19 cases in Ghana keep rising continue to pray for the leadership to take rightful strategies for mitigating the impact of the virus.
• Keep thanking God for the Seed of Hope Radio Broadcast that many will come to the saving knowledge of Christ and that those who are already in Christ will be built up to maturity.
• Pray that the strategies being adopted to continue to engage the Kparigilanyili community will yield results as we look forward to identifying real seekers who can be moved to say yes to Christ.
