Ghana Update – September 2020
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
Introduction
In our desire to live Christ-like lives there is a call for us to make our sinful nature give way in order for us to grow and produce the fruit of the spirit in all that we do both in conduct and conversation. It is not easy but it is possible as we press on with the real love from the Lord in the needed forbearance and faithfulness.
Orphans Project
It is always a great joy to see what seems like an insignificant gesture being greatly appreciated and spoken off as a great relief and hope for a family that has been shuttered by the departure of the bread winner of their lives. The orphans’ project through the support of partners of Unite 4 Africa is touching and changing lives.
Updates on Radio Broadcast
The listenership of the radio Broadcast continue to increase each week and testimonies continue to emerge from individuals that we never even thought would make time to listen to the broadcast. This is what one woman who happens to be a regular listener said “My son, I have been going through challenges of late but your lesson on joy has greatly encouraged me and given me so many lessons in my walk with God”
Economic Empowerment Training
Economic empowerment lessons and effective strategies for the market place continue to be carried out for a group of women and some few men by Samson in order to assist them to improve upon their financial literacy and economic empowerment. We are trusting the Lord to grant us the grace to see each of them become financially empowered to effectively become witnesses of the Lord who can show Christ love not just in word but also in action.
Leadership Development Training
Samson has enrolled for some leadership development training with the local chapter of the World Wide Evangelical Seminary. He has been scheduled to lead some capacity building lessons for his colleagues to position them for effectiveness in their ministries. He is also participating in some courses with the School of Marital Success in preparation for the bouncing back of the family and marriage program dubbed “the marriage you desired.”
Prayer Needs
Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord:
- Thank God for easing of restrictions and the opening of the air space in Ghana and that the situation will continue to improve.
- Continue to pray that God will be glorified through the Seed of Hope Radio Broadcast and that many will come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
- Thank God for the orphans who have recently received animals they will be able to expand and become beneficial to them and their families
Yours in His Vineyard
