OCTOBER 2020 NEWSLETTER
“Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.” (Acts19:8-10)
Introduction
Raising generational and transformational leaders calls for patience, time and lots of commitment. Thanks to the Partners, president and Board of Unite 4 Africa as they continue to pursue the agenda of generational transformation through the grooming of local leaders.
Community Health Evangelism Training
We were happy to help facilitate a Community Health Evangelism TOT 1 for the Anglican Church in the Upper East region of Ghana. It was great meeting with various leaders from different parishes who were willing for a shift of mind set to make a difference in their outreach as they share the love of Christ with the Unreached. It was encouraging to hear comments such as ”I have been looking for such a training as this and I cannot just stop thanking God”,” I now know why we have not been making the desire impact in our outreach efforts” and I now know that I don’t have to focus on only the spiritual needs of the unsaved but must approach them with a wholistic Gospel”.
Pastors and Church Leaders Training
It was very encouraging participating in a two days conference of the Savelugu Chapter of the World Wide Evangelical School. Samson assisted in facilitating Pastors and Church leaders training for the Baptist International Association Churches in Tamale and also shared lessons on partnership and goal setting and mentoring with focus on intentional multiplication of leaders with the Bible School students in Savelugu.
Updates on Seed of Hope Broadcast
Week after week people call in to the program to thank God for an opportunity to be encouraged and draw closer to God as well as been shown simple things to do to extend the love of God to one’s neighbor. Three people met me personally during the few past weeks and said “Pastor you have no idea what your radio program is doing in the lives of people. Anyone who listens to you and is still not on his/her way to be transformed then something is wrong somewhere” Ending your topic on the joy of the Lord by bringing your singers to the studios was just awesome and refreshing.
Prayer Needs
Remember to lift up these prayer needs before the Lord.
- Continue to pray that God will be glorified through the Seed of Hope Radio Broadcast and that many will come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
- Bless the Lord for successful CHE and leadership training.
- Pray for the nation Ghana as the country moves into election campaign that the peace of God will lead and Godly leaders chosen for the affairs of the nations.
Yours in His Vineyard
