Ghana Update – May 2024

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We were privileged to have the opportunity to have an outreach for children in a community which is over 95% unbelievers in Christ Jesus. It was great seeing an outreach which was meant for children because they appear more receptive to the Gospel than adults who turned out to for the program.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared them and they were further shown the love of Christ through the offering to them of some gifts.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

One of the key things that will help sustain the gospel work in communities is leadership. Leadership development is very crucial if we want to have lasting impact for the Church and society at large. Leadership development has become one the areas that needs our intentional attention should we desire to see lasting results and continuity of what the Lord is doing in the Church and across communities where we work.

SEED OF HOPE BROADCAST

We have to sincerely appreciate everyone who has continued to pray, give and support the Seed of Hope Broadcast in one way or the other. During a community gathering, a man walked to Samson and greeted him and said “I believe you don’t know me personally but I just want to say thank you for the Seed of Hope Broadcast. It has been a great blessing to some of us and we monitor it every week. Please keep up the good work of showing us how to walk with the Lord”

At a different meeting another lady spoke and said “I listen to the Seed of Hope Broadcast every passing week but you have not heard me call into the program because I don’t know how to dial the number of the radio station when the opportunity is given for listeners to call in to ask questions for clarification”

PRAYER NEEDS

• Appreciate the Lord for His goodness and the opportunities He is offering us to share the Gospel across communities in northern Ghana.
• Thank God for the health of Salomey, Samson’s wife who is recovering speedily after being hospitalized. She has been asked to do physiotherapy twice a week. Pray for complete restoration.
• Pray for traveling mercies for Samson as travels across West Africa to train and offer leadership for Disciple making and Church planting.
• Pray for the mighty move of the Holy Spirit across the nations that the Gospel will make impact speedily and wider in the nations of the earth.
