Ghana Update – March 2015 – Samson Abukari U4A Country Director, Ghana

“Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:10-12 ESV)”

Introduction

The willful choice man made in the Garden of Eden caused man to die spiritually. However, God in His rich mercy made a provision in His son Jesus Christ for man to live again.  God has presented man another opportunity to choose eternal life or death. It’s our prayer that more and more people will choose Jesus in order to enjoy this eternal life which has been made available to everyone by our loving God.    

Pastors and Church Leaders Conference

The Ghana team had the privilege of participating in a conference that was organized for Pastors and Church Leader by Radach in collaboration with Imagine Nations. The conference was under the theme “Sticks and Stones, leadership lessons from a king”. Some basic, but timeless leadership principles in the life of David were shared with participants at the Conference. 

Branding of Water Tank

The water tank that was constructed for the Kpalgigbini community by Unite4Afriac has been finished in honor of Charles Pattison and Steve Gabriel. It is our prayer that when the rains set in the tank will serve as a great relief to members of the community.

  

Preparation for Bridges for Neighbors Training

By the grace of God, advance preparation and budgeting for the “Bridges for Neighbors” training has been done. We have included discussions for all who attend the much anticipated training. Some preliminary contacts are being made to ensure that the right participants will be identified for the training. These participants will implement the basic truths within their local and surrounding communities.

Prayer Needs

Join us in going to the Lord with the following prayer needs: 

• Continue to pray that the battle against the Ebola virus will soon be won.

• Pray for a successful hosting of our next mission team from the US.

• Pray for a fruitful Bridges for Neighbors Training.
