1. Village Loans and Saving Group
Samson towards the middle of the first quarter of the year began a village loans and savings Group in the Janjori Kukuo Committee. This is aimed as instilling in the members the habit of savings. An added touch to the group is the opportunity to have lessons in entrepreneurship and investment. The group has so far contributed a little over $400 with the hope that by the end of the year we will assist members with loans they hitherto would not have been given should they go to the bank. A proposal is currently developed to get a start up revolving fund to help augment the weekly contributions and ensure empowerment of the members and to enable them multiply and duplicate their efforts in the entire community and surrounding communities as well.
