Ghana Update – February 2020
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-10)
Introduction
The desire of the Lord is to have a multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language stand before His throne and before the lamb. As we continue to do our part with the support of the partners of Unite 4 Africa we have the hope that we will have multitudes from every nation, tribe, people and language stand before the lamb.
Call to Glory
About three years ago we were in the Karaga district to do communication bridges training through which some members of the community gave their lives to Christ including the Chief Warrior of the community. Our brother Mohammed Ayidanpaa was one of the young men who gave their lives to Christ. It was sad to hear that he had been called to glory but also great joy knowing that he had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. We were back in the community to mourn with them and to encourage them of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Mission Conference
It a great privilege to have our Church challenged and reminded for the need for missions and to be assisted to see how the Macedonian Church participated in missions. At the end of the conference, the Church adopted the Faith Promise giving concept to become a mission sending and support Church through what the Lord has blessed them with.
Prayer Conference
It was an awesome moment when members of the John 10:16 Group gathered to pray and intercede for missionaries, mission efforts, Ghana’s elections, threats of terrorism and many more. It was a great time of fellowship with one another and the Holy Spirit.
CHE Training
We had a five days CHE awareness and training session for participants from nine different communities in the Walewale District. At the end of the training the participants made a commitment to be agents of change in their communities. As part of their commitment each had to present a written seed project as part of what they will be doing with what they learnt at the training.
